Gloomy Thursday

The day started off so well early this morning with the sun peeping through but by the time we got out for out walk it had turned to this...  A mist hung over the flooded fields and with the bare trees, it looked like a wasteland.
Still, I got my Covid jab yesterday and a song thrush was singing beautifully as we made our way home, so things are looking up.  And more than 10 million have had their first jab now - an amazing milestone to have reached.  Well done to the NHS, the Army and anyone else who has made that happen.
