Inverness and the River Ness this evening, from the Friar's bridge. Very dark and cold with some teeny snowflakes blowing by.
Finally 'broke the duck(s)' and the bicycle had a shopping trip over the Kessock Bridge to Inverness. First time on all counts since the 19th of December. Good to have some of the things that ran out weeks ago back in the house. And good to get the heart and lungs working a bit up those long and big hills. Much care required in the dark looking out for icy bits and new or much bigger potholes. There were a few monster ones. A diversion to the East side of the bridge meant full exposure to a strong Baltic-like wind. Face numbing on that side. Not pleasant.
