Terrigal Haven

This is the eastern end of the little beach.  At high tide the water washes
right up to the stone wall and the blueish rutile sand remains high (being heavier) while the golden sand makes up the rest.  I confess this is my first visit here in 3 1/2 years - it just felt too sad to come without my Tony who passed away then.  We used to visit the Haven often for sketching sessions, walks and fish & chips.   This time I 'bit the bullet' and came alone. It freed something up and I was able to enjoy it in happy mode. Now I'm back to quick sketching again whenever I'm out.
So glad I went.
