Absolute Rubbish

Both the weather and the picture (it is the only one I have taken today)


There had been some snow overnight, but it was very wet and was more like slush.
I had to take the car to the garage early doors due to a couple of electrical faults (cooling fans running all the time and a window which opened on its own) and I was slightly worried about   a) not starting (after Sunday's episode)  b) the roads.
As it turned out the roads were fine and there was only a short stretch between Howgate and Leadburn where there was any ground covering snow so I was down at the garage half an hour earlier than expected.
Not that it made any difference as the car was booked in for 2 days and I was getting  a courtesy car.

I was hoping to stop and get a snow scene or two on the way back, but there was nowhere safe to stop  with any kind of suitable view.

All this resulted in me being home for tea and a toasted bagel.

I got a phone call about lunchtime from the garage letting me know that there were electrical switching problems with both the fans and the  window switch so parts had been ordered and will be delivered and fitted tomorrow (as expected) so I will get a call at some point and will be heading back to collect it.
