Before and after

Most of the day has been taken up with a trip to the hospital. I was very impressed with the treatment. I was wheeled to the operating theatre in full gear and after some snipping and eight stitches later was free to go. There were lots of papers to sign but I was given prescriptions for home visits from a nurse every two days for a fortnight and a follow-up appointment with the surgeon in three weeks. It has only taken a couple of months to get the whole thing sorted from start to finish.
