Tit on a Stick - Coal Tit (Periparus ater)

Another relaxing day - I popped up to see L's ride, as her owner is currently not very well.  The request was to give her plenty of love, which equates to giving her food!  She seemed quite content in the field, which is still waterlogged and when I put out a net of haylage she was quick to start grabbing mouthfuls.

While out I got some exercise in near Freda's Grave on Cannock Chase.  There's a favoured place near there for twitchers and photographers, somewhere that always has some feed around so attracts the local bird population.  This was one of the Coal Tits hanging around and I also saw Great, Blue and Long-tailed Tits enjoying the free food.  Home via the supermarket and an afternoon learning the vagaries of a DJI Ronin Gimbal
