Who doesn’t love a snowdrop....

Not native of course but introduced by the Romans. Once you know that it is easy to note they are almost always in their deepest spreads around buildings,  often churches or big houses.  If you find a patch in apparently open country and look around there will almost certainly be a wall or a ruin to indicate previous habitation.  Hard to photograph though without getting down in the mud, these were obligingly scrambling up a bank.  

Went over to Hambledon to do M’s food order with her. D has gone back into hospital for assessment.
