Bloomer
My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,
It is weird, but I feel guilty that it is Summer here. I mean. It is not my fault. We HAD our Winter. And it seemed to go on and on until mid-December, but now here we are with blue skies and warm days.
So for all those of you living in a grey world of sleet and snow, I apologise.
However, perhaps this picture of our first sunflower will cheer you a little. There are actually four plants, but I was delighted to see that the largest plant actually has four flower heads on it (they have not yet bloomed). It will be lovely when they are all out.
A good thing about the weather is that it means I can sit outside and supervise Punky in the garden. I have bogged up a baffle on the tree, with some duct tape and a sheet of plastic, so hopefully Cattaca will remain secure.
Tonight is the last night of me and the lads without Caro. So naturally I'm tidying the house and doing laundry. I'm quite proud of myself for getting through this week without major disaster.
Having said that... I should probably go and check on the laundry. If the garage is full of suds, I wouldn't be too surprised.
S.
