View from the other side.

A beautiful but icy cold sunny day so I took my post lunch tea outside to read and comment on a paper I am co-authoring about Antarctica.


This is the bench I set up yesterday and even though I only managed 20minutes before the cold sent me inside again, it was a wonderfully productive 20 minutes and just marvellous to get some air and daylight.

The twigs are from a huge pile of apple tree prunings that we are now feeding to our rabbits.

I really like seeing all the bird footprints in the snow (we feed them *a lot*) so maybe I will focus on that tomorrow.
