Looking down over Colne

I love this view of Colne town centre , which is still very traditional with many steep and cobbled streets and lots of little individual shops.This spot is from the Rugby Club , which is surrounded by fantastic park and woodland....but I remember it most as a spot we have enjoyed the annual Colne Blues Festival from for a number of years. This takes place every August late bank holiday ( obviously cancelled last year) when every little bar, field, community hall is jumping and there is AMAZING live music and beer festival for 3 days. The field I took this from would have a marquee with bands, the Rugby Club bar would be open, and the barbecues would be sizzling....then the walk into town for a mad evening. Great memories.
