Star Struck

I went with my mum and all the old people of Worthing (my mum is not an old person of Worthing, btw) to see Monty Don tonight.

OH MY GOD, I love him. He gave us a brilliant talk about his garden and other gardens he likes. I realise that sounds as if it might be boring but oh lordy, no - he is a brilliant presenter. It was funny, personal, friendly and all round just fantastic.

And the brave man, he did a Q and A session - Cue lots of mad, old people telling him how much they loved him and what they had had for their tea.

I just wanted to ask him to blip - he showed a lot of photos, he said he takes thousands - they were all stunning (he didnt show us thousands, I like to think he has a fair amount of rubbish).

Oh, he was just LOVELY
