Candlemas Day

Dear Diary,

In the Celtic tradition, today is the first day of spring.  You could fool me.  We are in the middle of a significant snowstorm and there must be nearly a foot out there already.  This is a candle that I received as a Christmas gift, a lovely beeswax spiral and a silver holder.  Almost to pretty to burn.  The spiral is a very Celtic symbol of course and after my three days of class I am immersed in Celtic symbolism.  Better get this posted before I lose the internet!
