Like a silken cloud

Saw this huge swan plant today. So many seed pods had burst open and the seeds were about to fly. An amazing sight. Sadly there were no monarch caterpillars in sight but I did see a couple of wasps. I read recently that an old net curtain can be thrown over plants to protect caterpillars from the wasps. The butterflies will lay the eggs on the net and the tiny caterpillars will crawl through the netting onto the plant.
