Signs of the times

Cold but out for a quick walk up around Alexandra Palace. The coloured arrows direct everyone on a one way path around the little duck pond although can't say that everybody was taking much notice of them.
Along the front of the Palace l could see lots of people standing around in yellow hi vis jackets and masks, l initially though it must be some filming going on but up close l saw it was a Covid testing station. I was asked if l wanted one but declined. I hear on the news that there are now 11 community cases of the South African variant and the Government is keen that it should not spread any further, volunteers are going around the areas involved and giving out individual tests which will be picked up later on in the week.
