There's wasps, and then .....

There's wasps and then there's potter wasps.  This particular species (of which there are literally thousands in Australia) is really pretty, and fairly non-aggressive. 

In other words, if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone.

Not the easiest of critters to photograph.  Those big eyes can pick out any movement and they'll flit off before you can say the word focus.
