Baby robin

My baby is growing so fast. He has fledged and is out of incubator. He in a large cage and enjoys flapping his tiny wings. I am trying to get him to feed himself. It’s taking time, but getting there. Mr google suggests in summer these little fellows enjoy ripe fruit. I gave him a piece of nectarine which he pecked at on his own. Ate it all, just skin left. This morning a piece of apricot. He is enjoy finding bugs I put in his cage.
