Stamens

In the glimpse of sunshine this morning the stamens of the white amaryllis cast shadows on the petals. Lovely.

The clouds came over and rain and snow threatened but never materialised. Meant I could complete the earthworks shifting soil from the back garden to the front. The lawn has been hammered and is caked in soil and grit. But at least the grass now has a chance of survival. Hopefully the forecast rain and snow will begin to wash away the glaur.

Did the weekly shop before the forecast snow materialises but no sign of it by midnight.
