Exciting Offer

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Eldest Mini Princess has been offered a place at Glasgow university!

She was just beaming. I think her smile lit up the whole city.

The four of us celebrated with a glass of Prosecco* although after two sips, The Youngest Mini Princess handed me her glass (“it’s disgusting”) so I had to drink that too. This must be my reward for all the times she used to insist I had a bite of half-eaten soggy toast or something equally revolting when she was a toddler!

*which put an end to (a very unintentional) dry January. Bloody lockdown. My liver has gone into shock with all this clean living.
