Bird Feeder in Sleet

It was sleeting this afternoon and I was taking shots of the bird feeder win the sleet with birds  occasionally going to the feeder. Unfortunately the best shutter speeds for capturing the sleet was different from that I needed for to capture the birds. I have therefore made a rather ham-fisted attempt last blending two of  the images. I used to know a way of creating snow fall in Photoshop but I was unable to remember this.
