Tree Root

Love the colours and textures on this bit of tree root that I came across on my walk this morning.
There has been so much rain recently that the streams in the fields have all burst their banks. So much so that a normally dry edge of the footpath was four inches under water. Carolyn had to carry Harry across the water. He refused to budge!! Luckily we were both wearing welly boots.
