Beautiful weather again today, but rain might be on the way .... so we took advantage of the bright sunshine & strolled into town. Extra of what lockdown does to you .... from a doorway in the local park. 

And it’s St Bridget’s day today. On this day,min times gone by, Children would go from house to house with a doll of St Bridget & families would hand a straw St Bridget’s cross in the home as a symbol of protection. Amongst many other things, Bridget was thought to be an expert dairywoman and brewer and was reputed to turn water into beer. Her prayers were said to still the wind and the rain.

And today is also Imbolc - a festival day marking the beginning of spring. Bring it on!
