Can you see me?

Slept pretty well again, despite not doing a lot lately! Woke to another bitterly cold day, but much brighter, even a,little,bit of sunshine :-)

Hub didnt feel great again when he woke, but after his medication he felt better. Breakfast in bed, just cornflakes & a couple of gingernut biscuits for hub, fruit & yogurt for me. after I had washed & styled my hair, hub got ready and we were downstairs by 10.30 :-)

One of our neighbours messaged last night to say she was going to get herself a Costa in the morning and would we like one bringing back....well you can imagine what our answer was ;-) and boy did we both enjoy it ! We also enjoyed the soup our other neighbour brought, for lunch with a sandwich.

Hubs been a bit apprehensive about todays review with his consultant......he need not have been. It was all positive, even down to the fact that he isnt having a 4th chemo cycle, just immuo next tuesday, which means he wont need the platelet jabs that he hates, and she is going to switch his daily jab to tablet form in 3 weeks time, so bye bye injections, which makes him really happy :-) She wants to see him face to face in 3 weeks time after a CT scan to review things.

Our quiz friend & neighbour came roundmwith a couple of items id asked them to get for me from their butchers mid afternoon. Hub had a long chat with him on the phone.

Our GP Practice Manager rang today to say that she had updated my status to "carer" on the system to enable me to have the covid jab as well. Hub is very happy about that outcome too.

Dinner this,evening is going to be steak & kidney with gravy, mashed potatoes and garden peas.

Todays blip is our chrome giraffe which stands proudly on the side of our hearth.... think its a low key image, so have tagged it for todays Mono Monday challenge.

Not sure what we will be watching on tv tonight, no doubt we will find something!
