Road to Nowhere

We’re getting our road put in today which is interesting viewing whilst working at the window watching all the labourers, spreaders, tippers and steamrollers doing their thing!

I also love the smell of the freshly laid asphalt.

MrsT and I both worked and indeed met whilst working for Tarmac back in 98.

Where does the time go!

I worked the sales office during the week then did overtime working on the weigh bridges at weekends at various quarries throughout Scotland but mainly Edinburgh.

The road only goes up just past our house for now. Still just the two houses moved in but we’re expecting neighbours soon.
