Bethlehem

In Israel on a Holy Land tour.
This was taken across the valley from the terrace of the Lutheran church where we had lunch.
Amazing pine and olive trees grow in small areas of land free from buildings, but their light green shade does not really impact that much on the light sandstone, especially when the sun is as bright as it was today.
