A nest of crocii

Another cold day.. grey no sun, so yet again we didnt go to the beach. In the end we went to the park which was quiet considering it was the weekend.. mainly dog walkers like us.

Spent time on the internet searching for suitable materials to rebuild the end of the 'wood shed' which is falling apart. Trying to find something that will do the job but not cost the earth. (How much for a plank of wood?? )

Fletch seemed keen to have his 'teatime walk' so we went up to the seawall . So cold it made my eyes water. I was on the look out for a little clump of snowdrops I'd seen in the gloom yesterday but couldnt find them till our return journey, ( by then in the gloom again!)  But I did see this little clump of crocii ( crocuses?) which were growing in amongst the dead grass a bit like a nest. Blip done.

Upper arm felt a bit bruised last night but no other side effects! Phew.

Looking at the news it's going to be a while before lockdown is lifted ( People defying the rules dont help the number of new cases but at least the numbers seem to be going down )

Positive note for today.. the days are staying lighter longer  and it may be less cold and windy for our walk tomorrow

Stay safe and well everyone and thank you all for your stars and comments :)
