Big Garden Birdwatch

This is my tally from the Big Garden Birdwatch: 1 pidgeon; 2 robins and a ???? Dunnock?  Apart from that I did some ironing, my jigsaw and had a nice catch up with a friend. 

Day 322 / Day 27 of Lockdown 3 (for my record only)
UK deaths up 587 to 106,158 (revised basis), with 21,088 new cases, 34,783 patients in hospital, 3,832 on ventilation and 3,039 new admissions. c9m have now received their first dose of the vaccine, with nearly 600,000 vaccinated yesterday (a record). Cases in hospital in Portugal are so high  (world's highest rolling 7 day cases and deaths per capita) that patients are being sent to Austria and medical staff from Germany's military are being sent to help. Everyone in Guernsey who attended the Festival of Dance on 19-22 Jan and their household members have been told to self isolate after a COVID-19 outbreak. Police issue another 162 fines this weekend for rule breaches largely around holding / attending parties. Very sad news just released that Capt Sir Tom Moore has been admitted to hospital today with the virus, but he's not in intensive care.
