Candlemass ....

..... christ's presentation in the temple.
This morning my bubble family (The Rev & KJD) came to share this service streamed live from St'Georges Shirley I went to this church for many years. It was a lovely service ,very special as the host was given by The Rev. They had a cuppa and left at 11.20am. I then went to do a bit of sainsbury's shopping ( I've found this is the best time , less people) . I then had a short stroll and got my blip for today.
The photo of St' Paul's with St Agatha of Woldingham. On researching Mr Google this is the result - - -
The name Woldingham was 1st attested in the Domesday book 1086.The village was within the Anglo - Saxon Hundreds . St Agatha church was originally the village church seating 40 people , 1st mentioned in 1270 as the smallest church in Surrey, dimensions 30feet 3inches x 20 feet 2 inches , it is 797 feet above sea level the 3rd highest in the old parish altho' St Agatha's is now combined with St Paul's it is still in regular use.13 century St Paul's is a grade 2 listed building . Not much found about the interesting square tower , must research more!!. You can see the ( in the blip ) lane going down from the church and also another birthday bouquet from A & K, I'm so blessed .
Do hope you've all had a good safe Sunday .

Thoughtful ..... of those who have been lonely today, as I've been so fortunate . Thank you A & K you're the best.
