The Big House

I did the Big Garden Birdwatch today with eleven different species showing but less in number than a normal day which is typical.

This afternoon I went for my walk from home.  This is The Big House in the village, a Grade II listed building built in 1631 and extended in 1924.  It was bought recently after being up for sale for a long time.  Apparently it required modernisation which would be a big and costly job for a house that size.
