Millions of cockle shells on the banks of the Forth. The building is Barnbougle Castle on the Dalmeny Estate. In the far distance you can see Arthur’s Seat towering over the city.

We timed our walk with low tide, and it really was *very* low. At times it felt like we were walking across to Fife. Jaffa ran for miles.
