Rocks And Moss

A very cold and bright start to the day. I set off for my walk around 8:30. These old boulders with their toppings of moss caught my eye. They have been removed from the field in the background to prevent damage to farm machines…and there are several piles dumped in the hedgerow along the route.

There is also an older tractor and trailer in a yard - again looking nice in the soft light, see extra.

On the way back I captured a phone panorama shot of the sky, I loved the clouds - see second extra.

I have discovered the latest version of MacOS won’t open some of the old files I have on back up drives. I am now going to have to dig out my old Windows laptop and fire it up (it will probably take a coupe weeks to update itself first) to open them and transfer them in a different format to the Macbook…. a real PITA

Land’s End to John O’Groats Challenge status:

I have completed 116 miles this month (approx 3.7 miles per day) - about 3 miles to go to Totnes. I am about 30 miles ahead of the ‘Pace marker’ of 2.74 miles a day.
