Goosander Taking Flight

Glorious day today. Sunshine from dawn till dusk. Managed a nine mile walk this afternoon and didn't see another person. Spring is definitely almost upon us - the countryside is starting to come alive again.

I took a number of landscape shots, but this one of a female Goosander taking flight I liked. (the landscapes will still be there tomorrow!) Best viewed large.

On the downside I managed to lose my favourite Oakleys :-( Might have to retrace my steps tomorrow.
