St. Peter trampling the Devil
This statue is currently in Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter . It is dated around 1500 and was originally placed on High Street Exeter . It is made of oak and was probably made by an immigrant artist from northern France. City documents from early 16th century record a sizeable immigrant community including people from Northern France and Low Countries of Germany .
I love this museum . It is a truly great place to visit . Highly recommended .
