RSPB Birdwatch
It’s the RSPB Birdwatch weekend. You watch for birds for an hour. As we are in lockdown it had to in the garden. We positioned ourself indoors watching the garden, both with binoculars. Watching through them for an hour isn’t easy. So that you don’t count the same bird multiple times in order to see multiple birds they have to be in the garden at the same time. The count for today was 2 robins, 2 blackbirds and one blue tit, great tit, wood pigeon and a dunnock.
We then re potted some of the succulents that have got too big.
And while we were doing this my daughter was packing as next weekend she moves out. As we were all together today and as it’s my birthday on Monday we had a take away. Once she goes due to the Covid guidelines I won’t be able to see her. I realise that all mum’s have to face this. I’ll miss her so much.
It was a very grey day so any of the the bird photos were poor. This is the wood pigeon in the holly tree.
