Dr Nicola Brink

Something a bit different this evening. This lady is something of a local celebrity. She is our Director of Public Health. She has had a rather busy year to put it mildly. This is the lady who steered Guernsey through the first lockdown and is guiding us all through our second. She’s the lady who can still make you feel as though she has everything under control, despite the fact that cases here have gone from 4, last Saturday morning to 186 today. There was no public briefing today, so she recorded a message for islanders this evening letting us know the rationale behind her day’s decisions. Everyone should have a Dr Brink.
