Playing Music

...I wish.

This is my effort at endeavouring to follow in KeithKnight's footsteps and combine a challenge from Missymoo and Kalibug. It almost qualifies...

This is my late father's trombone. He started playing it when he was a boy and eventually ended up teaching others to play not just brass, but all of the instruments used in a military band, having been a bandmaster for many years in the army and then a peripatetic music teacher at schools in this area.

Sadly I never had the application required to learn how to play anything other then the fool.

But at least I still have his "slush pump" as he lovingly referred to the instrument. I can even get the (very) odd note out of it.
