A building for a change!
An old Guernsey Granite building which now houses a restaurant on the ground and first floor and the Royal Channel Island Yacht Club on the 2nd floor.
Apparently a very nice Italian restaurant offering good food though, we have not been to this one for a while.
This building is located on the seafront, facing the careening hard so presumably had a nautical history.
The timber "crane" on the 1st floor is I think authentic although it has been refurbished so, I expect this was a warehouse in older times.
Life is full of mysteries and it is very tantalising to try and winkle out the history of all these old buildings but, it is quite a task!
