Starlings are often pesky, but not always.

When a flock of starlings invades the backyard buffet, my first reaction is to tell them to "Go away...Far, far away!" However, if I take the time to look at them more carefully, I realize that even starlings, as noisy and pesky as they often are, add beauty to the backyard buffet. I especially like their "candy corn beaks," which may be unique in the bird world. Look closely, and you may be tempted to agree.
