Mittens

I didn't even know it was a thing! Himself had to explain. For those of you who are equally unenlightened:

We are very up to date here, or someone is, for the Nativity scene, BVM and Masai warrior have been temporarily replaced in the ex-postbox shrine. Follow my link if you are mystified by that comment!
An odd day. We went to a funeral this morning - well we didn't really as only 10 people are allowed to attend funerals at the moment but in light of Covid restrictions, a new custom has developed - people line the road as the hearse leaves the family home and heads for the church. A particularly sad death of a neighbour and much respected member of the community; something very moving as the hearse made its way slowly to Durrus, the coastal route full of those who came to pay their respects.
I couldn't settle to much after that but did a bit of gardening, had a yomp around the circuit and  finally finished a blog  
And there's frogspawn in the pond!
