another gloomy Saturday afternoon

The weather that is.  And The News.  Apart from that it's been fine and dandy.

Around 3 o'clock we had a face-time session with our new neighbours.  We've only ever been able to chat in the car-park up till now, so this was different - and fun.  

We brought our own drinks and snacks of course.  Bertie the dog could hear my voice and kept running to their front door and barking.  I think he'll eventually get the hang of it.

We chatted about our families, postponed holidays and so on - the usual stuff.   All very easy and pleasant.  We agreed to do this again next weekend.  It might catch on.
