Walk Around

Had a walk around the village.
The wind was bitter and l was glad l l walked into it on the way out so it could blow me home.
Visited the village millpond ( it’s behind the wall in my photograph) to look for the kingfisher, no luck just the usual ducks, hens and a couple of turkeys.
Called at Arlo’s on the way home and bought my usual flat white and a little buttery tart filled with chocolate, Contriou and pistachios.
Saved them till l got home ; l was worried that the tart might be too sweet but it wasn’t as the ganache was made with plain chocolate so that was my weekend sweet treat.
