Stare down

This Carolina Wren was doing a stare down with Baron and I.

I had found a spot in the sun where I had a clear view of the feeders and was sitting and brushing Baron. A couple of wrens came to the feeder and although the one happily ate away, this one had to stare us down for a while first before deciding it was just too hungry and got to chowing down too.

Baron with her long coat of fur needs to be brushed out at least every other day so she doesn’t get hair matts in there. She is a wonderful self groomer but with all the romping in the cypress trees etc she likes to collect little burrs in her fur. The worse to take out are the ones in her tail. >^..^<

Not sure what is on the agenda for today. Hubby went into work this morning but I’m willing to bet he’ll be out in the cold working in the yard this afternoon.
