Saunter - walk in a slow, relaxed manner.

A walk in Dean Cemetery today which is about a mile from Princes Street.
It was so quiet and peaceful on this sunny day and very interesting to see the different style of monuments.
One that caught my eye was for a Col.Robert A. Smith of the Confederate Army who died after the Battle of Munfordville in Kentucky in 1862. He was a long was from home and only 26 when he died.(1st extra). This cemetery obviously houses the more affluent Edinburgh folk as you will see with the extra’s.
