I was sent this - probably because I'm an asthmatic.  

It's two vouchers (scissors not included) for 6 facemasks.  The times we live in.

Heard an interesting story about a person who lives in the suburb of Mainz-Kastel. Mainz-Kastel is a district in Wiesbaden, it did belong to Mainz (just across the Rhein) but it now belongs to Wiesbaden.

The person tried to arrange an appointment for the corona vaccine.  However, whoever had programmed the system for Hessen had decided that Mainz-Kastel wasn't a part of Hessen.  

Mainz is the Capital of Rheinland Pfalz, and Wiesbaden is the Capital of Hessen.  An address in Mainz-Kastel must therefore belong to Rheinland-Pfalz.

No chance of entering the address, because Mainz-Kastel is not in Hessen.

And when they phoned the Health Service in Mainz, guess what?  Mainz-Kastel is not in Rheinland-Pfalz, it's in Hessen.

As a programmer, I could fix this in 2 minutes.  But since it is part of the government, it'll probably take months to sort.

Naja.  It has been pouring with rain all day.  Not a day for going anywhere.  I shall start cooking in a minute.  There will be good things to eat for dinner.
