Gorse

A necessary trip into town gave a good opportunity for taking a slightly longer route home to stop off at a local common for the daily exercise walk.

The first site of interest was found a short muddy stroll from the car with  fallen trees which sported Jelly Ear fungus (extra). The common itself was covered in gorse, which gave me my shot for today's Flower Friday challenge.
