Greater spotted woodpecker

All the bird food was put out early for the RSPB bird spotting weekend. The woodpecker, a fairly regular visitor, arrived and stayed still long enough for a quick photo , though the ISO was very high. When I uploaded it, I noticed that she has been ringed. I'm not aware of any local ringing so am now very curious about her history. I might have to spend several hours watching out for other woodpeckers, in case she isn't alone. I might see one without a ring.
