Lunch snack

Shortly before this photo was taken, the lighthouse on the island of Fidra was not visible due to the sea fog which is starting to disperse here. We were thankful for our warm soup and sandwiches as we walked from Dirleton to Gullane along the coastline and seeing many birds including these oystercatchers searching for their lunch on the seashore.

(I am not sure what the other bird seen here is but perhaps someone can inform me if it's a stint, sandpiper or something else.)
