A slow process

We stayed at the Haka Hotel again last night, as we had an appointment for 10 o’clock this morning. Last evening, as yesterday was Auckland Anniversary Day, there was a great light show on the Harbour Bridge. Changing colours and swings of light along different spans of the bridge. We had the same room at the Haka Hotel as we had a week ago, and had a grand stand view.

This morning I went out for a morning jaunt, in part to get muesli and yoghurt as I had neglected to bring any with me. (This hotel does not have a restaurant, instead providing facilities to feed oneself if not going to nearby restaurants or cafes.)

Close to the hotel there is a great deal of construction work as part of the inner city underground rail loop. A number of photos from different positions and decided I liked this best because of the angles and the light.
