Blue skies yonder

It rained all morning so the daily walk was postponed until the afternoon. There’s a big puddle at the bottom of the garden and plenty of mud everywhere.

The walk took us up to Crystal Palace where there are tantalising glimpses of the City between the buildings on the Triangle.

We watched The Dig, which was very watchable, especially Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes, and the Sutton Hoo discovery. With the wonders of the internet, we watched documentary clips about Sutton Hoo and we yearn to be able to visit the British Museum in time to see these Anglo Saxon treasures.
