Little blue in a tree #23

Not too bad a night, best sleep was between 5&8..... we were awake by 8.30, breakfast was cornflakes tea & toast and after a leisurely lounge, showered and downstairs by 11.

Daughter had offered to fetch something via her "meals on wheels" service for dads lunch today....depending on what took his fancy. Well, he fancied KFC, so thats what we had.
Hub was thrilled to find he could taste his boneless chicken pieces so really enjoyed it. I had a twister wrap which was very tasty too, a real treat.

After lunch we masked up and went for a little walk, a bit further than last time, a bit quicker too. We had a distanced chat with our neighbour across the way for 15 minutes too, before going back indoors.

We had a mid afternoon coffee, not a Costa lol, just one I made ;-) I had a nice lengthy chat with sis in law who rung me for a catch up.

Hubs been better today, we've had another appt through for CT scan towards the end of Feb, which will be the first one since before his treatment started, nodoubt this will give a much clearer picture of just how successful his treatment has been hopefully!

I have also managed to book hubs covid vaccination for next Tuesday, thanks to the kind assistance of a fellowblipper, you know who you are :-Dx

I cooked a piece of ham late afternoon and roasted it off, slathered in brown sugar, honey, soy and orange marmalade....we had a kind of mezze platter for dinner tonight, slices of ham, different cheeses, a part baked ciabatta crisped up in the oven, some fig chutney, sliced apple, red grapes and a few crisps.
It all went down very well :-)

I had hoped to get out in th garden again this afternoon but never got around to it! Todays blip was snapped throughmthe kitchen window this morning whilst I was making breakfast........a long zoom, not th clearest of shots, but its all imhave for today! Ive refilled the birds bowls and feeders so hopefully some visitors a bit closer to orrow. although we,will be up and out early in the morning.

Hubs already gone up the wooden hill, hes settled down, Ive put the alarm,on for 7.45 just in case ;-) we need to be on the road by 9.

I am just finishing off here, a couple of quick things to do in themkithcen before I turn in too.
