Whatever I might have expected to find under the floorboards, this wasn't it.

I thought wallpaper initially, as that's a regular find, but this seems to be wrapping paper going by the feel of it.   I have to wonder what drugs the designer of the puffin-penguin cute-horror-combo was on?
